Projects
Long-term projects
Each of these is followed for years before it is finished. Most end as a book. That sequence — subject, duration, publication — is the whole method; there is no other one.
Asian Waters is the one still open, and the first here for that reason. It runs the same sequence as the rest — the films are out, the books are being written. The others sit behind it, closed.
Two sit outside the shape entirely. European Square ran in the magazine press rather than as a book. Senza Confini, the 2017 Epson calendar, was a commission — included because being asked to author it is itself part of the record.
